I don't think my 13 year old son masturbates, and don to believe he ever has.I am concerned that he is never has, and in turn,l be embarrassed on his first time. Over this past year i have tried to catch him masturbating, in order to congratulate him. My efforts were unsuccessfull. Im thinking that i should show him how. 3.) masturbating is NOT something you WANT your son to do...I know society has made masturbation seem acceptable or normal, but is not.

instead, commend him on his maturity in refraining from that behavior, and teach him techniques to help distract him from those urges when or if he gets those urges.
