Advice about school and not performing well?

Whenever I do not do well on a test, I feel really bad. I was not like this in HS and this has only started since college. I feel like if I don't get an A, I should have/could have done something else to get it. While this mentality sounds good, I realize it is a bit extreme, and was wondering how I should go about not feeling so bad.Advice about school and not performing well?
You might want to feel bad. It might be what you need. You need to think about how you could have done better. If you think you could have, you might have been able. If this is the case than you might want to learn from that. If not, you can still learn from it. Failure in something can be learned from. That in turn can make it a success. Learning that you are good or bad in an area is success. Learning that you know the subject, could have done it, but am not suited for school can be a success as well. You then need to find what you are suited for. If you feel bad, then it is most likely that you did not study like you should have and you failed. If you gave your best effort and did what you were able then you succeeded.

School is about timing and effort. If your timing is wrong than do something else.
