I need some advice about remembering my way around town?

Okay im 16 and i dont have a car, so i dont have much experience driving around a big town, but thats not really what im worried about. Its remebering where everything is and how to get there. Im afraid im going to mix up all the streets and get completely lost. I kno this sounds pretty pathetic, but i havent really had a reason to go into town by myself until now. So anybody have any advice?I need some advice about remembering my way around town?
I have the same issue. The best way until you learn how to get around better is to write it down. I like to use the notes in my phone because it just looks like you're sending a text message. Keep them short too because long detailed directions will actually confuse you more.I need some advice about remembering my way around town?

So that said when you leave from your house look for odd things that stick out and what color the house is at that street your turn on.





look for set landmarks like mc d's or whatever you will remember then look for them on the way back and you will do fine.

well i am older than 16 but when i am in a new town i don't know the first think i do find out witch is north and south it helps me from geting lost hope this helps
Get a gps. I'm 16 and I don't know my way anywhere either lol. It might sound embarrassing but it will definitely help and you won't be getting lost.
