Can someone give me advice about a DVD player?

It doesn't play certain DVDs, a couple of the ones that don't play are brand new and have no scratches on them. The DVD player is about a year old. Does anyone have any advice?Can someone give me advice about a DVD player?
Send is back to the shop, something wong with your machine, most probably the lazer pickup cannot go the the extreem end of the inner radius or outer radius, thus it cannot read the starting point of your disc.





All machine produces in the last 3 years should read todays 1 layer and 2 layer disc.Can someone give me advice about a DVD player?
Have you checked the region that plays? Some DVD players are configured to play discs from certain regions only and the DVD you may be playing might be from another region. Either get a multi-region player or get discs specifically from the region that your player plays.
try cleaning the inside carefully,
I personally think DVD players are similar to computers, even when they're a year old, they're outdated. Our DVD player did the same thing, bought a new one and PRESTO!





Check with the manufacturer, is it warrantied?
Make sure that the dvd your trying to play has no special featurs that your dvd player is not compatible with
