I need advice about telescope to see distant object during concert?

so i fly from indonesia to melbourne to see a concert , and ALAS i get the worst ticket possible....its the furthest ever...

so i think i need a telescope to see the band playing.

well...im thinking to buy it in melbourne so can you tell me what kind of telescope and where i can buy it?I need advice about telescope to see distant object during concert?
Most telescopes are unsuitable for terrestrial viewing for many reasons. Not the least of which is that many of them invert the image you are viewing. This makes no difference for celestial objects, since there is no up or down in space.

A decent set of Binoculars with 8X or 10X magnification should do the job just fine, as already suggested.

If they allow cameras, get a camcorder with a really high optical zoom and optical image stabilization. A camcorder with 40X magnification and a live preview LCD would be a lot better than trying to use a telescope or binocculars. If they don't allow cameras, I agree you should get good binocculars.
Wouldn't it be better to resale that ticket and watch the concert on TV.

Think again and reconsider one minute. Are you really take a plane to go to watch a concert with a pair of binoculars?

Wouldn't this sound a bit crazy?
Sounds like you'll want binoculars. A telescope would be inappropriate for a concert. What you need is magnification, not the ability to gather light. Just about any binocs will do. Try some 8x20s. They magnify 20 times. Don't get anything too big or your arms will get tired.

I suggest you go to a sporting goods store in Melbourne.
binoculars, but don't pay retail, Ive seen really good ones that retail for $800 on Craig's list for $20, if that doesn't work there's always eBay.
