I need advice about catching Perch Minnows?

I would like to know how to catch perch sized minnows. I have minnow traps but I always seem to catch the larger sized Pike minnows aka chubs. Any tips on catching small minnows would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.I need advice about catching Perch Minnows?

I'm confused. Do you want to catch baby perch, or minnows the size of a perch like 2- 5 inches? Just make the holes smaller. sadly thats all you can do.
What do you use in your traps? I use bread. Try making the holes smaller.
go to a sandy spot and get a big net. get a friend to hold the other end. walk into the water till its about up to your knees. walk towards the shore with the net in the water. if you cant do that try this. get any kind of rod even a stick if you have to put a very small worm on it and lower it in the water.
