Me and a friend are planning to move abroad for a year, ideally to the canary islands.
To work and to do something out of the ordinary. At the time we're planning to do it, we will both be 19. which will be just over a year from now.
But to be honest, we're pretty clueless about where to start.
Preferably we don't want to be teaching, and that seems to be the only thing available.
Has anyone got any advice?
thanks.Advice about moving abroad for a year?
I know that a lot of the people going abroad for a year have jobs in tourism. Mostly cleaning the rooms, tending the bar or working in the kitchen of international hotels, sometimes also working in the smaller places in the town they go.
It would help a lot to speak the local language, (in your case Spanish) so doing a course will help you, at least to get started.Advice about moving abroad for a year?
