Can someone please give me advice about MAC foundation shades?

Right now, I'm currently using CoverGirl's ';AquaSmooth'; foundation in Classic Ivory...I would like to try out MAC's Studio Fix Liquid, but I'm not sure which shade to get. Is there anyone familiar with this CG shade, that can possiblly direct me to a good match?Can someone please give me advice about MAC foundation shades?
Just get a MAC makeup artist to try some out on you.. there are also different types of foundations that they offer so you should get them to help you.Can someone please give me advice about MAC foundation shades?
I am not sure but I do know that mac uses light and cool colors. For example there cool color scale is NC then the number and there warm colors are NW...... the best way to figure out your shade will be going into a store and having someone help you :) they are all very nice and helpfull. Mac has MANY colors so it would be very hard to get one that would work because many are similar to the ivory color.
