Does anyone have any advice about getting a children's book published?

I need to know such things as the procedure of publication, cost, time, etc.Does anyone have any advice about getting a children's book published?
Children's books are tricky. You need an illustrator for sure. First step is to of course write the book, then get it edited by a quality editor. I get some great editing and publishing help from www.wordtechs.com.
